She was born in Brescia in 1970 and gained her diploma in viola in 1992 as an external candidate at the conservatory “G. Nicolini” in Piacenza. She followed perfecting courses with Maestros D. Rossi and J. Levitz. In 1994 she was part of the youth orchestra “Schleswig-Holstein” conducted by V. Gergiev and M. Rostropovich, and in 1995/1996 the “Gustav Mahler Jungend Orchester” conducted by B. Haitink and C. Abbado. In 1996 she was considered suitable in the competition for viola in the orchestra Arena di Verona and in the same year won the competition for the post of Concertino viola in the orchestra “Maggio Musicale Fiorentino”, covering that role from 1998 to 2001. Currently she collaborates with the orchestra I Virtuosi Italiani; Orchestra da Camera, Mantua; the Filarmonica, Teatro alla Scala, Milan; orchestra Teatro Regio, Parma; Pomeriggi Musicali, Milan.
